Preliminary Longevity Processing Through March 31, 2018

The process to calculate the longevity date for the period of October 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018 will be run on time. However, in accordance with the SEBAC 2017 agreement, the April 2018 longevity payment will be delayed until July 2018. Therefore, when the process is run in final mode on April 6, 2018, the row inserted into Additional Pay will be effective dated July 1, 2018 for check date 7/20/2018.

The April 1, 2018 Preliminary Longevity Process (CTHRB301) was run on March 9, 2018. The instance number is 9102146. The process created both a Processed and an Exception report which allow agencies an opportunity to review the data and payment amounts before they are finalized. The Processed report will show all employees who will be automatically processed by the program and will include their new longevity date (based on periods of leave from October 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018) as well as their April longevity payment amount, if applicable, which will be made in July. The Exception report will show employees that could not be processed by the program. At this time, please review the preliminary reports for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments prior to the final date calculation process being run on April 6th.

In order to navigate to the reports, click on Report Manager under My Reports and select the List tab. Change the Last field to the number of days since the report has been run (i.e. number of days from March 9, 2017). Click Refresh. Click on the report link with the applicable Process Instance number identified above. Each link will have both a Processed Report (referenced with the number 2) and an Exception Report (referenced with the number 3). For additional information about the longevity process, refer to job aids: Longevity Date Calculation and Reports and Longevity Report to the Excel Format.
