User Productivity Kit (UPK) Information
Welcome to the Core-CT UPK Support Page
Oracle's User
Productivity Kit (UPK) is an online, highly interactive training
tool with animated training simulations. It is the web-based
training method for Core-CT users. Follow the instructions below to
access the UPK exercises:
Start by logging
into Core-CT production with your user ID and password. Click the
‘Core-CT Help’ tab displayed on the main Portal homepage. The UPK
content area is displayed on the far right of the page. Click the
link for either ‘Financials UPK’, ‘EPM UPK’, or ‘HCM UPK’.
Core-CT strongly
suggests that users first open the PowerPoint show
User Productivity Kit
Instructions explaining how to use the UPK tool. The
instructions will explain the different modes available. Including
the “Know It” mode, where users can self-test their knowledge and
print the scoring results.
Financials UPK Information
Currently, UPK
exercises are published for the following areas:
• Accounts
Payable,
• Accounts Receivable
• Asset Management
• Billing
• Commitment Control
• Customer Contracts
• eProcurement
• General Ledger
• Inventory
• Project Costing
• Purchasing
EPM UPK Information
EPM UPK exercises
have been developed to introduce users to the Query Manager tool as
well as the basic fundamentals of query. These are intended to
supplement existing EPM training courses, providing an opportunity
for EPM users to become acquainted with and practice ad-hoc query
development and execution on their own.
HCM UPK Information
Currently, UPK
exercises are published for processes within the following areas:
Enterprise Learning (for Training Registration users), Leave Plans,
Position Actions, Schedules, Self Service and the most recent 9.1
upgrade materials for ePay, eProfile, My System Profile, HR Changes,
Payroll Changes, and Time & Labor Changes. In addition, a section
called General Information for New Hires is available for brand new
HR users. It demonstrates the basic navigation skills needed in all
the HRMS modules. Further processes will be coming online in the
