Two New Fields on Maintain Time Reporter

Two new eligibility fields have been created on Maintain Time Reporter for Sick and Vacation. Each field defines whether or not an employee is eligible to use sick or vacation time on the Timesheet. The Sick eligibility can be used for Service Workers who are accruing sick time but have not worked 680 hours entitling them to use it. The Vacation eligibility can be used for new hires during the initial working test period when they are eligible to earn time but cannot use it. When the employee becomes eligible to use sick or vacation time, switch the flag to ‘Y’. These new fields can assist agencies in managing leave accrual usage and will prevent the need to manually calculate accruals during times employees are not eligible to use them.
