SEBAC vs. Rowland Settlement Agreement and Leaves of Absence

There have been some questions raised on how to deal with employees who received vacation and/or PL time and who are now being placed on a Leave of Absence. If the employee will be placed on an unpaid leave in Job Data for a period that includes 1/1/16, agencies should delete the VA03 and/or PLA03 entries from the timesheet. In addition, please provide a list of those employees to Belinda Thibedeau at Belinda.Thibedeau@ct.gov. Include the Employee ID, Name, and Expected Return Date.

Further instructions will be provided at a later date regarding the proper procedure to follow when the employee returns to work. If the employee returns prior to new instructions being provided, please notify Belinda.

If employees who received vacation and/or PL time and are being placed on a Leave of Absence that does not include 1/1/16, the VA03 and PLA03 entries should NOT be deleted.

Self-Service agencies making timesheet changes today can request the nightly Time Administration process be run so that approvals can also be done today. Please log a Help Desk ticket that includes the employee ID and record number to the Time and Labor Team.
