Changes to the on-line CO1092 Security Application Request

Department Row Level Security in Core-CT determines the employees a user will have access to by Department ID in the various HRMS modules or EPM. This is further defined by the Row Security field on the General Tab on the User Profile page.

Time and Labor (TL) Group Security in Core-CT determines the employees a user will have access to in the Time and Labor Module, relative to TL reported time. Time Approvers, Timekeepers and Leave Plan Specialists are some examples of TL reported time Users.

Maintenance of Department Row Level and TL Groups security is now being removed from the on-line CO1092 Security Requests form and central processing for this by Core-CT Security will no longer be necessary. Agencies will be able to independently update these values on-line in Core-CT and will be responsible for ensuring Row Level and TL Group Security is appropriate for all Core-CT Users in their agencies.

With this process change, we will be creating a new role (CT_HR_AGY_MOD_ROW_TL_GRP_SEC) in Core-CT and are asking agency HR staff to identify the employees in their agencies who will be responsible for performing these tasks moving forward. Upon cutover of this new functionality, we will update the users you identify with this new role. If appropriate based on the authority provided this new role, it is recommended agencies leverage existing HR CO1092 Liaisons, since they will continue to be responsible for processing the on-line CO1092 Security forms in Core-CT to request role changes.

When responding to this request, please forward the following information to the mailto:CoreCT.Security@ct.gov by September 30, 2016.

Employee ID Core-CT User ID Job Title

Thank you for your cooperation.
