Core-CT HRMS Daily MailDate: 11/14/2016 SEBAC vs. Rowland Settlement Agreement PL and Vacation Time This daily mail serves as a reminder to agencies that the PL time awarded as
Compensatory Damages will be expiring on 12/31/16. Agencies should ensure that
employees are given the opportunity to use the time before it expires. The TRC
Usage report can be used to find employees who have PL time remaining and is
available in Core-CT by navigating to Core-CT HRMS > Time and Labor > Reports >
TRC Usage Report - CTHRR460. The following selections should be made on the Run
Control page. Dates to Report: Begin Date 01/01/2016, End Date 12/31/16 Report Style:
Uncheck both boxes Employees to Report: Select any option - Department, Group or
Employee Report Request Options: Select by TRC TRCs to report - PLA03, PLD03,
PL03 The report will display one row for each TRC with the total number of hours
posted. Compare the hours from the original award (PLA03) to the number of hours
deducted (PLD03) and taken (PL03). If employees have time remaining, please
notify them. In the rare instance that employees may have overused their time,
please log a Compensatory Time Help Desk ticket with the Time and Labor Team.
Agencies are also reminded that employees with SEBAC Vacation Time remaining
at termination need to be paid out and the balance zeroed. To payout the
vacation time enter the number of hours remaining with VP03. This will both pay
the hours and zero the balance. This MUST be done on the timesheet prior to the
termination date. Paying the vacation time via Additional Pay or with a lump sum
amount will not reduce the balance and will be difficult to report on. After
termination, the vacation plan should be inactivated. Questions on paying out
the vacation time can be directed to the Time and Labor Team. Return to Core-CT HRMS Daily Mail Home Page
