Core-CT HRMS Daily MailDate: 8/22/2017 Furlough Day Start Dates For bargaining units with the value of the furlough days reduced over each
pay period remaining in the fiscal year, please begin the deductions through
Additional Pay effective with the pay period beginning August 18, 2017. The end
date for deductions remains June 7, 2018. There are 21 pay periods between
August 18, 2017 and June 7, 2018. All four job aids related to Furlough Days
have been updated to include this new information. For bargaining units where sick leave accruals will be reduced in lieu of
furlough days, the accrual rate on the sick leave plans will be reduced by
Core-CT effective with the September 2017 accruals and will remain reduced for
12 months at which point standard accrual rates will be restored centrally. Some
bargaining units will need to have a new leave plan created with the reduced
