New Override Reason Code Created

A new Override Reason Code (CELWG - Comp Earned LWGOV Closing) has been created for use with the CCE Time Reporting Code for essential employees who are required to work during a weather related or other event and when non-essential employees are released from work. In order to use CCE on the timesheet, the employee MUST be enrolled in a Compensatory (Comp) Time Off Plan effective with the first day of the pay period in which the CCE will be posted. The employee must remain enrolled in the Comp Plan until the comp time has been used.

Unfortunately, there is no automated way for Core-CT to enroll impacted employees into a comp plan. In addition, there is no way for Core-CT to determine which employees are considered essential since it is determined at the agency level. For these reasons, all employees must be manually enrolled in a Comp Plan individually.

Questions about the timesheet coding can be directed to the Time and Labor team. For information about enrolling employees in comp plans, refer to the Job Aid Enrolling Employees in Comp Plans.
