Core-CT HRMS Daily MailDate: 1/25/2018 Updated information on Timesheet Coding for Essential Employees 1. Updated information on Timesheet Coding for Essential Employees The Daily Mail dated January 5, 2018 advised agencies to use the Time
Reporting Code (TRC) CCE to grant comp time to essential employees who are
required to work during a weather related or other event when non-essential
employees are released from work. It was discovered that the CCE code caused
exceptions when employees had other time worked that totaled more than 24 hours
in a day. To avoid this in the future, a new TRC has been created for this
situation. The new code, CELWG , is now available effective December 22, 2017.
The Override Reason Code (CELWG) is still available but may be unnecessary now
that a distinct TRC has been created. It is at the agency’s discretion whether
or not to use the two together. Agencies have the option of changing the CCE coding on January 4, 2018 to the
new code CELWG or leaving the CCE already posted however, for any of these
events that occur on or after January 5, the new code CELWG should be used. Questions about the coding should be directed to the Time and Labor Team at
Core-CT. Return to Core-CT HRMS Daily Mail Home Page
