Creation of a Tier 4 Retirement and General Deduction Job Aid

To help agencies decipher the deduction codes for Tier 4 Employees, Core-CT has posted a new Job Aid entitled “Tier 4 Deduction Codes”. This job aid lists the Employee/Employer Tier 4 Retirement Deduction Codes. This Job Aid also provides the general deduction OPE15/ OTR15 codes and corresponding employer share that should be used for Tier 4 employees.

On the Core-CT website you will find this Job Aid under HRMS, Payroll Job Aids. Please refer to the table on the Job aid for those employees that fall under Tier 4 when setting up Retirement and “OPEB” codes.
