Core-CT HRMS Daily MailDate: 5/11/2018 New Employee Class A new Employee Class has been established, Trainee-Initial WTP Complete (TP).
This Employee Class is to be used for employees who are in a trainee job
classification, have passed their initial working test period, but remain in a
working test period for training purposes. This Employee Class should be used
effective immediately. Agencies that currently have employees in this
circumstance must enter a Data Change/General Data Change to update the Employee
Class to TP. It is anticipated that the mass Annual Increment program that is
run centrally at Core-CT will be modified to ensure that those employees in a
working test period for training purposes, as identified by the Employee Class
of TP, will not be processed for an Annual Increase. This enhancement to the
Annual Increment process will ensure those trainees who are not eligible for an
AI do not receive one. Updates to impacted employee records must be made by
