NP-5 Layoff Seniority Date Calculation

In accordance with Stipulated Agreement 09-4407 between the State of CT and the CT Police and Fire Union, all authorized unpaid leave counts toward layoff seniority. As a result, Core-CT has been updated to ensure that no authorized unpaid leaves deduct from the layoff seniority date calculation. This change in Core-CT is effective 11/1/2019. Agencies will need to manually adjust the layoff seniority date if any authorized unpaid leaves were deducted from the date prior to the change being made in Core-CT and in accordance with the stipulated agreement.
