April 1, 2020 Preliminary Longevity

The April 1, 2020 Preliminary Longevity Process (CTHRB301) was run on March 6, 2020. The instance number is 10521649. This process created both a Processed and an Exception report which allows agencies an opportunity to review the data and payment amounts before they are finalized. The Processed report will show all employees who will be automatically processed by the program and will include their new longevity date (based on periods of leave from October 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020) as well as their April longevity payment amount, if applicable. The Exception report will show employees that could not be processed by the program. For exception employees, agencies will be able to enter the payments manually through the Additional Pay pages using the Earn Code LNG and the effective date of April 1, 2020. Limited Scope agencies will submit their longevity payments, if applicable, through their usual processing method.

Please note that we are now able to calculate the longevity date for those employees serving Temporary Service in a Higher Class using the new TSHC process, however the longevity payment must still be entered manually. Employees in this circumstance will be listed on the Processed Report, for date calculation purposes only, and on the Exception Report, under Exception 3.

In order to navigate to the reports, click on Report Manager under My Reports and select the List tab. Change the Last field to the number of days since the report has been run (i.e. number of days from March 6, 2020). Click Refresh. Click on the report link with the applicable Process Instance number identified above. Each link will have both a Processed Report (referenced with the number 2) and an Exception Report (referenced with the number 3).

The final longevity process will run on April 3, 2020.
